Kahi lives in District 19 and throughout his upbringing, has lived in Nu’uanu, Kailua, the continent, Kaimuki, and Ka’alakei (D19). He has worked in the corporate world, founded a very successful nonprofit organization (Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii), and currently works for nonprofit Parley for the Oceans while serving on multiple boards and commissions.

He spends his free time with his family and friends enjoying Maunalua Bay, volunteering with community groups, and doing home improvement projects.
